Production Tracking
COINS USA developed the COINS Ti Production Tracking Module to help contractors
determine progress toward completion of a job when work done is not
easily measured at the cost code level.

Labor Progress
In the COINS Ti Production Tracking Module, you can track labor progress
at the Operations level, which can be illustrated by the following hierarchy:
- Job
- Phase
- Cost Code
- Work Package
- Operation
In the COINS Ti Job Status Module, the
user can track labor progress at the cost code level. Production Tracking
further divides cost codes divided into "Work Packages", which
represent physical sections (or drawings) of the area defined by the
cost code. Each of these Work Packages is further broken-down into the
Operations (i.e., tasks) required to complete the Work Package.
Each operation has a countable number of units (quantity), to be installed
to complete the operation. Each operation has an estimated (or "planned")
number of hours to complete. As quantities are installed at the operation
level, hours are "earned" at this level to be used as a common
basis for measurement for all Operations of the Work Package, and resultantly,
the cost code.
The percent complete of the cost code is then determined by the ratio
of total earned hours (for all Work Packages and Operations) of the
cost code divided by the total estimated hours (for all Work Packages
and Operations) of the cost code. This percent complete is then applied
to the cost code Revised Budgeted Quantity to determine the cumulative
Equivalent Quantity or percent installed. The incremental cost code
Equivalent Quantity installed is then determined by subtracting the
previously-reported equivalent quantity-to-date installed from the new
equivalent quantity-to-date installed.

- Production History Report
The COINS Ti database can also be used with report
writing software, so you can develop additional reports to meet
the unique information needs of your company.
