Charge Equipment to Jobs

You can charge equipment to jobs through the use of equipment time cards. These can be entered manually, come from payroll time cards or be automatically generated based on location. Both rates and methods of charging can vary. In addition, rates can be further broken down to ownership rates and operating rates. Each of these categories can include up to eight different types of rate bases-for example, rate/hour, rate/mile, rate/day, rate/week, rate/month, rate/piece, rate/second, rate/other.

Capture Charges for Customer Billing

By using COINS Ti Equipment with COINS Ti Billing, you can bill customers for individual pieces of equipment that were charged to a job.

Maintain Cost History

Through the costing function, you can track actual costs incurred for each piece of equipment, component and subcomponent. Detailed cost history can be kept for each piece of equipment. Each cost will be categorized by cost category and by cost item within the cost category, and can be optionally tracked on a component and subcomponent level. In addition to actual costs, COINS Ti Equipment will allow allocation of incurred indirect, general and administrative costs that might relate to equipment costing. Components and subcomponents can be moved from one piece of equipment to another, taking with them all their associated history.

Through the personal vehicle reporting function, you can provide Payroll with the information required by the Federal government regarding the personal use of company vehicles.

Schedule Repair and Maintenance

COINS Ti Equipment lets you assign equipment maintenance schedules and tasks to be performed. You can also schedule preventive maintenance. This can be done at the class, subclass or equipment level, and can be based on multiple units of measure (e.g., hours/miles).

Track All Pieces of Equipment

COINS Ti Equipment lets you track each piece of equipment by location and person responsible. This enables you to commit equipment to a job/location for future use. Report on Productivity The module lets you report the specific tasks performed by a piece of equipment and with what frequency. By tracking how each piece of equipment is being used and how often, you can assess its productivity.
